Once in a while, you may find some thing, place,
individual, couple, family, business, or company that is extraordinary or goes
well beyond the norm to provide
excellence to or for others. Keiki Stacy Weigle, or "Aunty Keiki" as she is known to family
and friends, has created the Kilohana Award to recognize this form of
excellence. The literal translation of "Kilohana" is "excellence" or "the very
best", so it is very appropriate that this is the name for this award.
As an award recipient, it is evident that the
winner incorporates the Aloha Spirit
and shares it with others. In presenting the Kilohana Award, Aunty Keiki hopes
that these winners always continue what it is that creates excellence
and shares that in
Aloha Spirit
with others!
